i've used cb2's lacquered shop chest over and over in design projects - it's the perfect compliment to mix up a few traditional pieces. they're great for bedside tables, as shown in this quirky kid's room i'm wrapping up next week, or you can push two together for office storage, a console, media stand, or entryway piece. i love the new blue color.
i love to augment a room with a few pieces from cb2. they always pack a punch for a low investment, but seem to be able to stand the test of time, as they're well made.
while i'm at it, west elm's cutout bedframe is always fun when you have a wallpaper, or bold wall color you want to peak through. the cutout offers a bright white frame to showcase your wall covering.
