favorite charleston spots + tech travel essentials

here's a little catch up on what i've been up to lately.  fyi - I was asked to participate in the #InfinitiveAtWalgreens campaign, sponsored by Infinitive at Walgreens. Although I have been compensated, all opinions are my own.

you guys know i've been traveling back and forth to charleston a ton this year, so it was a natural spot for our holiday pop-up shop. being on king street has been so much fun. there's nothing like cruising around one of your favorite towns, and seeing your name on a window of one of it's busiest streets. it's great to stop in and check up the shop, tidy a few pillows, say hey to the sweet girls at moon & lola and then head over to brunch, or do so shopping at hampden or croghan's.

i just got back from a great long weekend, and thought i'd share a few on my favorite spots in the city.

park cafe is a gorgeous lunch spot on upper king.  pretty as a picture, with perfect lunch sized portions -- make sure to try the pickled plate, and the homemade chex mix!

leon's is also on upper king and serves killer oysters and bloody mary's.

being on the go so much, with a constant need to stay plugged in, i've added a few must-haves to my traveling technology bag of tricks. when we're out exploring the city, it's a given someone will end up with a dying cell phone, or a need to transfer pics from a camera to a laptop.

while we were at jubilee, a event hosted by garden & gun (more on that tomorrow!), service was spotty, so our batteries were zapped quickly.  since we were staying at zero george, just around the corner from a Walgreens, i stopped in for an extra power bank so we could plan to be at the event the entire day without our phones dying.

the cool thing about Walgreens is 1) they're everywhere! and 2) their new electronics brand Infitinive guarantees you'll stay connected throughout your busy day, offering over 100 products, including chargers!, that have been certified by apple and are priced 20-25% below other branded competitors.

my two Infinitive travel tech must-haves: a power bank and a charging cord that's extra long (so great for hotel rooms with hard to reach sockets bedside).

Infinitive is your go-to technology and electronics brand for keeping up to date and in the loop when your days are speeding by and full of the unexpected. they're the perfect resource for functional, stylish tech essentials accessible at walgreens, so you feel relieved and ready for whatever life throws at you.

sometimes life throws afternoon shots of rumplemints at you, especially if you stop by one of our favorite dive bars, the palace hotel.

pooghans porch is a favorite brunch spot, especially in the summer when you can sit outside. their crab cakes benedict is perfection.  glad i brought my Infinitive power bank because we were all able to get our phones fully charged for the day before heading out to jubilee.

indaco has a such a cozy vibe at christmas - definitely try the octopus app and one of their flatbread pizzas.

two spots i always stop in are fig, and muse.  fig is about impossible to get into, but you can usually count on a spot at the bar if you're up for waiting a bit and enjoying a cocktail.  and muse is a lovely italian restaurant tucked away on society street that's perfect for a low-key evening with friends.

i'll have some snaps from jubilee tomorrow on the blog, so check back for more charleston charm!
